The opportunity
A well-established and high-performing multi-brand dealership in Napier is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Executive to join its dynamic sales team.
 
This role offers the chance to work with a diverse product range, appealing to a broad customer base, while being supported by proven systems and a reputable dealership network.
 
 
About the role
You'll be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
 
This is a target-driven role suited to a confident sales professional who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and delivering exceptional customer service.
 
 
Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options
• Manage the full sales process from enquiry to delivery
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain strong product knowledge across both established and emerging vehicle brands
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business
• Present vehicles in a professional and compelling manner, including test drives
• Work closely with the wider dealership team, including finance and aftersales departments
• Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner

 
Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' retail sales experience (automotive experience highly advantageous)
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills
• Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering great service
• Confidence in building rapport and closing sales
• Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
• Current full driver's licence
