As part of a skilled and supportive team, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of passenger vehicles while maintaining manufacturer and industry standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Routine servicing, inspections, and scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out warranty and recall repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements
- Maintaining accurate service records and parts documentation
- Providing a high level of customer service and technical support
- Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines
Skills and experience required
- Trade qualification as a Light Automotive Technician (or equivalent)
- Previous franchise dealership experience
- Strong diagnostic, repair, and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Full, valid driver's licence
- Good communication skills and time management
- A strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
- Genuine enthusiasm for automotive technology and ongoing learning
