The role
This position is based within a reputable franchise dealership workshop. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and maintenance on light passenger vehicles
- Reporting directly to the Workshop Foreman and Service Manager
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environment
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Where required, collaborating with parts, service, and sales departments to ensure smooth and efficient workshop operations
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant automotive trade qualification
- Proven experience as an automotive technician working on passenger cars in a franchise dealership environment
- Experience across multiple brands will be considered
- Advanced franchise brand training is highly advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- A reliable work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
