An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Diesel Technician with a background in forklifts or heavy equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of forklifts
• Perform diagnostics and electrical fault-finding
• Complete minor and major mechanical repairs
• Undertake field service work when required
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and customer call-outs
• Maintain high service standards and build positive customer relationships

What we're looking for
You will hold a relevant automotive or mechanical trade qualification and have proven experience working on electric, diesel, and/or LPG forklifts. Experience with heavy machinery/construction equipment plant will also be considered.
 
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Confidence completing major repairs independently
• Ability to work unsupervised when required
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and efficiency
• A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• A customer-focused approach to service delivery
