An opportunity is available for an experienced Forklift Technician to join a well-established and growing organisation within the materials handling sector.

The role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of materials handling equipment.
 
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Repairs and component replacements
  • Attending breakdowns and field service work
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety

Skills sought
  • Relevant automotive trade qualification, preferably as a diesel technician
  • Proven experience servicing and repairing forklifts or similar mobile equipment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Light Automotive Technicians with strong diagnostic and mechanical capabilities will be considered
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Clean, current driver's licence
