A busy and well-established dealership group workshop is looking to strengthen its team with two experienced automotive professionals.
There is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Automotive Technician with EV experience, offering the potential to progress into a Foreman role, as well as an on tools Workshop Controller to take responsibility for coordinating workshop workflow and supporting the technical team.
What's on offer
This hands-on senior role suits an experienced technician confident with diagnostics, complex repairs and modern vehicle technology, including EV systems. You will carry out servicing, repairs and inspections while mentoring technicians, supporting workshop workflow and maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
You will be a trade-qualified technician with proven industry experience, strong EV/high-voltage and diagnostic skills, high standards of workmanship, good communication and teamwork skills, and the confidence to mentor others. A WOF licence is highly advantageous.
Importantly, this role provides an excellent opportunity for a Senior Technician who is ready to take the next step into a Foreman position.
Workshop Controller
As an on-tools Workshop Controller, you'll combine hands-on technical work with coordinating people, jobs and priorities to keep the workshop running smoothly.
You will manage technician workloads, monitor productivity and quality, support the team, liaise with Service Advisors and management, and ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining strong operational and customer service standards.
A relevant automotive trade qualification with solid experience, ideally in a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Technician role, are required.
Strong workshop workflow and productivity knowledge, good technical and diagnostic understanding, excellent organisation and confident communication and leadership skills are required, along with a practical approach to problem-solving.
EV experience is highly regarded, as is a WOF licence.
